The tomahawk tradionally comes from the first 7 ribs off a steer. Cut from the rib, you get the marbled and tender prime rib attached to a rib bone. Typically great for a social meal, the presentation is impecable, really hitting the carnal caveman needs. This steak demands to be cooked on a BBQ.
